SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Security Level File - This new data file will enable the system administrator to specify a security level for each operator. The level chosen will affect that operator’s ability to view the new Personal Notes Files that have been added to Student Records, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Aid.

Convert Notes - Utilities have been added that will allow you to convert your current notes (i.e., Student Notes in Student Records, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Aid) to the new Personal Notes files in these modules. This is only an option and is not required. The AS3 system will always have two versions of notes, secure and not secure. The conversion programs will be found on the System Administrator / Utilities Menu.

STUDENT RECORDS

Consecutive Absent Report - This new report will find students who miss a selected number of days in a row since their last LDA in any given course. Unlike the Consecutive Days Report, this report looks at individual courses not entire days of absence.

Drops Report - LDA has been added to this report.

Future Starts Report - The student's Education Code has been added to this report.

Schedule Printing - A new version for clock hour schools is available for courses that are taken consecutively rather than concurrently within the same term code. Enter the code of AIRSRSSB in the Student Records, Setup Options File.

History by Student Report - This attendance report will print exactly like the Attendance Journal by Student Report, except that it prints from the attendance history records instead of the records in the Journal Edit File.

Archive/Restore - You can now archive and/or restore using a the STUDENT GROUP field which you will find on the Admissions Screen of Student Entry. Note that the STUDENT GROUP field can be modified automatically using the Build Selection File program.

Personal Notes - A new version of note taking has been added which includes a security level. The Operator Code File can specify a security level for each operator. The level that is input in the operator's file will control what notes that operator is able to view. There is a means to convert the notes currently on your system to the new Personal Notes Files, or you can keep them separate.

Student Entry – Alien Number has been added as a new data field on the Personal Information screen.

BUSINESS OFFICE (A/R)

Personal Notes - A new version of note taking has been added to the Data Entry Menu of this module. See Personal Notes of Student Records for more details.

CAREER SERVICES

Correspondence Edit Screen - The Letter ID has been added to this screen.

FINANCIAL AID
