The DOE, as of October 29, 2010, published final regulations to ensure Post Secondary schools are in compliance with Gainful Employment (GE) Program requirements. A file must be sent by November 15, 2011 (it was originally October 1, 2011) for students and any program that leads to a degree (associate, bachelors, graduate or professional) or programs that prepare students for “gainful employment in a recognized occupation.“

If you had to do this by hand it would be very painful. AlaQuest has completed the GE file transfer program that builds this file, and forwards it to the DOE for processing. Title IV programs are included in this GE requirement. All AlaQuest AS3 users can have this transfer program loaded on their systems in advance of the November 15, 2011 deadline by contacting our Support Department for details.
